All self-identified pup players and pup trainers are welcome to apply. No matter how you engage with puppy play – at home, in bars, online, or only on the weekends – you are encouraged to put your best paw forward and show us why you should be the next AZ Puppy or AZ Trainer.

It is with great anticipation we look forward to the 2026 Arizona Puppy and Trainer Contest on Saturday, May 2nd. A panel of judges from within the local queer community in Arizona, the greater southwest region and the national puppy play and trainer subculture will be present at the contest. Soon, the judges will award the titles of AZPTC to those who exemplify our values along and display exceptional character, presentation and poise.

By participating in AZPTC, you will celebrate your pup community and contribute to its diversity, resilience, and growth.
