Meet 2024 AZ Puppy Judge, Britannic Zane, aka PupKake, Mr Arizona Leather 2024!
“Brit Zane has an extensive background in the BDSM / Leather scene that started in 1988. After co-organizing the annual B&D fetish fashion balls and weekly night club kink nights at Manray in Cambridge, Brit started to branch out within the community to explore their own kinks. In 1994, with a fondness for leashes and being on all fours, they quickly became known in the Boston gay leather scene as a Leather pup. They ran play dungeons, organized demos, and took part in running leather contests such as Mr Ramrod Boston, and Mr. Drummer / Drummer boy competitions. In 1999, they moved to San Francisco where they, became a community ambassador for the Aids Housing Alliance. When they joined the Castro Lions, they started the Ms. Heartthrob Leather title. Since, they have consistently been an active participant in organizing, volunteering, educating, and advocating for the LGBT+ and Kink / Leather communities.
Post covid, they found a new home within the leather groups here in Phoenix where he hopes to continue being of service. This year, they have been awarded two leather titles: 2024 Southwest Leather Mama Bear, and Mr. Phoenix Leather. Being a leather pup themselves, they have been thrilled to witness the evolution of pup play during their leather journey. They believe that the pups have become a strong voice of our community.
