Meet one of the five AZ Puppy Contest 2024 contestants, Pup Wammy!
“Anyone you ask, the first thing people (and dogs) will tell about you about me is my high energy. I am literally the dog version of the energizer bunny. All my life I’ve had to tell myself to take it down a notch. Thankfully, I found a place where I don’t have to and now I’m just running around Arizona spreading that energy around. Along the way in life, the same people who will tell you about my high energy, I have made many many friends and have been accepted into a family. I love to spread love and joy and anyone who has met me has felt that love and joy. That love and joy that I spread comes from how much I love myself. When I moved her two years ago, I said that I wanted to reinvent myself, so what better way to do that than move to a city named ‘Phoenix’. At first, I thought I had failed at reinventing myself, so for a time I got lost. I forgot how much I loved myself. That love that I had spread to everyone around me, came back to me from my community and my brothers. It reminded me how much I love myself, and now where I am at I love myself more than I had ever before, I promised myself never again shall I forget the love I have for myself. I am relentlessly confident in myself and I will never allow anyone to take that away from me, not then, not now, and not tomorrow. I will always pride myself on being there for those around me and not limit my fighting spirit to myself. I will always fight for myself and those around me and who I love. I stay genuine to myself so that other people can feel vulnerable around me and be genuine to themselves with me. I may be a contestant in AZ Puppy 2024, but the only person I am in competition with is who I was yesterday. I strive to be the best version of myself so I can be the best version for others.”
