Meet one of the five AZ Puppy Contest 2024 contestants, Pup Stitch!

“Introduced to pup play in 2015 at Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco, Stitch’s journey began with a chance encounter that sparked an immediate fascination. It was there that Stitch was first introduced into the world of pup play. Witnessing fellow attendees adorned in hoods, being led on leashes, and embracing the spirit of friendship, Stitch found themselves irresistibly drawn to this unconventional form of expression.
“Initially hesitant, Stitch gradually embraced their newfound identity, acquiring their first hood as a means of seeking solace and respite from the pressures of daily life. Supported by their significant other, Stitch found comfort in the transformative power of pup space, where worries faded, and the present moment became all-encompassing.
“Upon relocating to Arizona, Stitch sought to expand their circle and forge deeper connections within the pup community. Moving here proved to be a pivotal moment, as it led to encounters with like-minded individuals and invitations to various pup-centric events. From rafting trips to bar nights and even playful events in parks, Stitch found themselves immersed in a vibrant community where acceptance and friendship bloomed.
“For Stitch, pup play is more than just a means of sexual expression; it has evolved into a profound social outlet and a source of emotional connection. In a world where socialization can be challenging, Stitch finds solace in assuming their persona, shedding inhibitions, and embracing the carefree spirit of their alter ego.
“Navigating life as someone who is on the neurodiversity spectrum, Stitch’s human side confronts daily struggles with socialization and sensory sensitivities. Yet, within pup space, these barriers dissolve, allowing Stitch to fully engage with others and develop meaningful relationships.
